Allégro Dance Academy provides dance classes to boys and girls of all ages in Glasgow. We pride ourselves on our high standard of teaching through the Royal Academy of Dance and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing syllabi.

At Allégro Dance Academy we focus on building strong technical and artistic foundations in dance from early years all the way through to advanced levels. Our classes are for all ages, abilities and ambitions.

We work hard and learn a lot… all whilst having fun! 🤩

At our award winning academy, we have a range of classes on offer for boys and girls of all ages including examination classes with Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) and Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD) examination boards.

Allégro Dance Academy is enrolling new students for the new academic year! Whether your child would like to dance for fun or to take a more focused approach to their training, we have classes to suit all abilities and ambitions.

ADA is an award winning school and our most recent success includes winner of 'Outstanding Small Dance School' and finalist for 'Dance School of the Year' in the 2026 Scottish Dance Awards. Finalist for 'Outstanding Small Dance School of the Year and 'Teacher of the Year' in the 2026 UK Dance Awards (results pending)

We offer high quality training in a friendly, safe and nurturing environment, with classes for children and young people aged 2-18.

Classes are based in Cathcart (all ages) and Brickhouse Studios, G4 area (S2+)

Students have the opportunity to take part in RAD Ballet & ISTD Tap & Modern exams as well as a fully staged and costumed show every 2 years.

Allégro Dance Academy was founded in 2018 by Kirsty Tremayne, an ex professional dancer and qualified dance teacher (RAD, ISTD, PBT & Acrobatic Arts)

All teachers are fully qualified and/or industry professionals and hold up to date PVG and relevant first aid certificates.

Does your child have a love of musical theatre? Or spend their time dancing to pop songs like they’re in a music video? These classes will be perfect for them!

Learn songs and dances from popular musicals in our Musical Theatre class and learn high energy dance routines to pop songs in Commercial Dance.

These classes are all about having fun and learning new skills in a non competitive environment 💃 🕺
