GCU Ethical Hacking Society

We are a GCU Students Association Society dedicated to improving the Standard of Digital Security, Forensics and Ethical Hacking at GCU.

We have been given the opportunity to visit Quorum Cyber office! The visit will be on the 31st of January 2024 at 11:30am.

This would be a great opportunity to learn about the cyber security industry and to have an idea what it's like working there.

That’s not all, Quorum have also lined up a few speakers to talk to us during the tour! They are as follows:
• Security Operations Centre (SOC) Manager — Scott
• Head of Offensive Security — Miguel
• Senior Incident Responder — Mark
• Head of Engineering — Kerry

Along with some of their current graduate specialists, as well as our former/current committee member and SOC Analyst Dominik Hanlon!

Sam Clarke will be leading the tour!

It's back...

The Glasgow Caledonian Cyber Convention is back for 2023 on the 4th and 5th of November bringing together Cybersecurity industry professionals, students, and enthusiasts to share ideas, knowledge, and experience. G3C provides a great opportunity for networking and learning for both cyber security students and professionals alike, with a Capture the Flag tournament on day 2.
