We had an amazing online masterclass with the legendary Tuba player and educator Aaron Tindall. His approach to auditions and performance preparation was vital leading up to the end of year recitals. Thank you so much Aaron and hopefully see you here in Scotland soon!

Thank you to the wonderful Jonathan Rees for his class with the RCS tubas on Friday. He brought with him great insights and experience as well as lots of shiny toys!!! Thanks also to Buffet Crampon UK & IRE and Parkers music for supporting this class.

Congratulations go to winner Robbie Dowall and to Lorna Rae who was highly commended
As well as the coveted Brass Governors Prize, Robbie will also be awarded the George Reynolds Development Award

Today we held the annual competition for the David James Prize for chamber brass
Congratulations go to the trombone quartet ‘The Paperclips’

Congratulations to current BMus4 tuba student Owen Campbell on being selected to be principal Eb Bass with the European Youth Brass Band! An amazing experience for him and all the Scottish representatives at this prestigious event. Bravo one and all

The group will again be performing at the Victoria International Arts Festival in Gozo, Malta.
