Feuerstein Training Education Billy was depute head teacher at a school for students with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties.

Billy O’ Neill is an Accredited Trainer for Professor Reuven Feuerstein’s International Centre for the Enhancement of Learning Potential (ICELP) in Jerusalem, Israel. He has taught in mainstream schools, special schools and residential schools. He introduced Feuerstein’s Instrumental Enrichment programme (IE) and Learning Propensity Assessment Device (LPAD) to his school in 1992 and 1996 respectiv

ely - which led to staff in special schools, support bases and mainstream schools in authorities across Scotland being actively involved in training and practice using IE and LPAD. Following intensive research, training and piloting of Feuerstein’s theory and methodology he decided to place the theory and methodology of Feuerstein at the centre of his school’s philosophy and to integrate the principles and practices of mediated learning experience into the curriculum. He teaches and assesses students, supervises and trains staff and is regularly invited to lecture at schools, conferences and universities throughout the UK.
