*Important information about Vaccination for Unpaid Carers*

Those carers who can be identified via Social Security Scotland, e.g. if you receive Carers Allowance, should receive a letter from the week commencing 22nd February with details of your vaccination. The letter will have a helpline number and an option to log into a website with a username (which will be included in the letter) should you need to reschedule the appointment or speak to someone about it.

Those carers who cannot be identified through Social Security Scotland will receive details of a self-referral route to book your vaccination appointment around the start of March. The self referral route will be similar to the process outlined for carers identified through Social Security Scotland. For carers included in this group, please keep an eye on our social media platforms and your inbox for up to date information soon, as the finer details may alter slightly. It is anticipated that North Lanarkshire Carers Together and other carer organisations will help Scottish Government with getting this information to you.

We will post any further information as we receive it!
