Happy St Patrick's Day ☘️
Today we celebrated with a special baking activity, making traditional Irish soda bread 🍞! The children had fun pouring, mixing and exploring the ingredients as they followed the recipe with staff. And of course, the best part .. tasting our warm, freshly baked bread together 😋

Throughout this week our children at 3 Bears have been focusing on their own decision making skills, when it comes to self serving meals, playing alongside their peers and choosing their own experiences🎉. This also links into our world book day where our children and staff dressed down in their pyjamas and got to bring in their own favourite story book. 📚🌍
Some of our older children have been learning to transition. This is where our staff have been taking our children to Brownside to help them settle a little more with the comfort of their key worker, we have been making this as smooth as possible for them before transitioning to our 3-5 nursery 💗⭐🥳

🌼Spreading a little kindness🌼
This week our children took part in Random Acts of Kindness Week by handing out flowers and affirmation cards they had created themselves to members of our community 💛
A lovely real-life learning experience, helping children build confidence while discovering how small gestures can brighten someone's day ✨

Yesterday we had a lovely afternoon at Po***ck Park. We enjoyed having a picnic in the park before exploring the outdoor play area.
The children enjoyed exploring in the sand and playing on the slide. Their favourite thing to do was the roundabout.

This week the children have been making the most of the rainy weather when exploring the garden☔. We have had loads of fun splashing in the water and using different resources to transport the water from one place to another💦. The children had a great time using their imaginations to come up with different ways of transporting the water whilst developing their fine motor skills through the tools they were using🛠️.

Last week, our boys and girls were very busy filled with all the fun experiences and activities involved throughout the week😍 This including, biscuit making for the mums for Mother's Day🩷St. Patricks day painting🍀, shredded paper fun, playdough and defining fine motor skills aswell as hand and eye coordination. 👁️✋ Therefore, also including being able to recognise colours and shapes by matching and sorting. This is something that the children extremely enjoyed throughout the week, aswell as continuing on with some learning into this weeks learning😁🥰
