We are absolutely delighted to celebrate Karis Crowe who has achieved her Children & Young People Modern Apprenticeship while working at Just Be Kids Nursery Darnley.

With the dedicated support of her assessor Jacqui, Karis has shown commitment, resilience, and a genuine passion for early years practice and her hard work has truly paid off.

✨ In 2025, Karis also won the prestigious Scottish Nursery Awards "NMT Scottish Apprentice of the Year", a testament to her professionalism, growth, and the impact she has made within her setting.

Everyone at L&G Learning is incredibly proud of your journey, Karis. Watching you grow in confidence and develop into a skilled, reflective practitioner has been a privilege. We wish you every success as you continue your career as a qualified practitioner.

Certificates are arriving by post today, and if you signed up to My Qualifications Scotland you'll also receive your results by text or email from 8am.

A huge thank you to everyone who got in touch after our last post. We're delighted to be working with both new and existing nursery partners.
We currently have candidates available across Glasgow, Paisley, East Kilbride, Clydebank, Cumbernauld, Lanarkshire, Renfrewshire, Ayrshire, Bo'ness and Brechin, with candidates also based in areas including Motherwell, Bellshill, Hamilton, Larkhall, Lanark, Uddingston, Barrhead, Irvine, Stevenston and Cumnock.

All of our candidates have been interviewed, completed our childcare assessment and are ready and prepared for interviews and trial days.

✅ No exclusivity agreements (we're confident you'll love working with us anyway!)
✅ No commitment to use us in the future (although we'd love to stick around if you'll have us!)
✅ Flexible interviews and trial days to suit your nursery or after care

🌱 Happy World Earth Day! 🌱
We love to see the children getting involved in all of the nurseries today — we’ve seen them planting seeds, sorting recycling, exploring outdoors and simply enjoying nature in the garden.
We believe teaching them these little habits now helps build a generation that grows up caring for their planet 💚
