Please remember that these are NOT formal applications so have fun making your choreography, as we solely want to grasp your ideas for September, and do not expect fully planned dances. Any ideas can be changed and finalised once teaching commences in September.

You can apply for more than one teacher role, but be aware that we have limited availability and will be prioritising regular classes.

Last member in our exec team is our new President: Isobel!💐

President Isobel, known by her GUDM friends as Billy, is in charge of the overall running of the society and oversees the rest of the committee to make sure everything is getting done in a timely manner. As president, Isobel is also there for all our other members to rely on if they need help with anything. She keeps the whole society on track to make sure classes are all running smoothly, events are well organized, and everything is documented. She is also the main point of contact for other societies or groups to communicate with, as well as keeping track of room bookings for our classes and coordinating with our lovely teachers. Isobel’s friendly nature, kind-heartedness, and focus set her up for success as an amazing GUDM president! 💙✨

Our next executive committee is our Vice President: Vivian!💐

Vivian is the societies second-in-command. She will be ready at all times to ensure everything is running smoothly: helping the committee all to reach their goals this year. If the President is ever unable to attend any occasions, as Vice President, Vivian will be prepared to take the lead so that everything can go on smoothly and ensure everyone is having a great time. As GUDM’s biggest cheerleader, Vivian will be a fantastic VP this year, as she is always willing to show up for the society! 💙✨

Next in our executive team is our Treasurer: Martha!💐

Martha is the executive member responsible for all our money queries. She is the mastermind keeping an eye on the budget, all payments, fees and other expenses. As Treasurer, she will be working with the committee and teachers non-stop to help organise the logistics of our weekly classes alongside all our fantastic events. Martha is going to be a great Treasurer this year, as she has great attention to detail! 💙✨

Now moving onto our Executive Committee, next up is our Secretary: Runyi!💐

Runyi is responsible for making sure the society can function smoothly, from behind the scenes. As secretary she will be handling all the admin; emails, registers, tickets, and memberships. She is the go-to person for minutes notes to keep the committee and all GUDM members in the loop. Runyi is well-organised and reliable, so we could not ask for a better secretary this year! 💙✨

Next up is our is Show Convenors: Christina and Erin!💐

Christina and Erin will be working as a team to pull off our biggest event of the year, the March Showcase, where all our dancers have a chance to show off all their hard work and skill. As show convenors the duo will choose our show’s theme, organize our amazing venue, liaise with photographers/videographers to capture our beautiful dancers, and make sure the show runs smoothly among many other things. Erin & Christina, already a great team, will help GUDM pull off an amazing 2027 show with their excitement and passion for dance and our society! 💙✨

Up next is our Competition Convenor: Molly!💐

As our Competition Convenor, Molly will be responsible for organising GUDM’s competition entries and organising the competition team. She will be handling all the planning: organising registering, sorting travel/accommodation, and schedules. Molly hopes to be a supportive leader, allowing everyone to perform comfortably and confidently, representing GUDM in the best light. Molly has an amazing work ethic and stage presence so is a fantastic person to have leading our competition team this year! 💙✨

Next is this year’s Resources Convenor: Alexandra!💐

As resources convenor, Alexandra will be in charge of organizing the sale of our amazing merch to all our members throughout the year. She will create the order forms, get it sent off to the printers, and make sure all members get their items! She will also be in charge of the costumes for our wonderful March showcase, making sure all our dancers look fabulous, and then keeping it all clean and organized after the performance. Alexandra’s organization, dedication, and outgoing nature are all key components in accomplishing this role and we’re excited for our next merch order in autumn! 💙✨

Next is this year’s Fundraiser: Katie!💐

As Fundraiser, Katie is responsible for the societies fundraising for charity and for our societies competitions and showcases. By planning and coordinating fun new activities, she will help us to donate to our chosen charity this year: something GUDM values heavily. By organising events from this summer up until the end of the upcoming year, she will be hands on in the committee to hit new goals. Katie has great ideas and aspirations for this year, making her a great Fundraiser for GUDM 26/27! 💙✨

Up next are our new Social Secretaries: Rose and Inga!💐

Rose and Inga, as Social Secretaries this year, will plan and organise a selection of fun social events to bring the society together outside of the classes. They are focussed on ensuring the socials are inclusive, accessible, and welcome to all: so all GUDM members feel comfortable. They will work alongside the comittee to ensure that the society’s values are well represented. They’ve brought fabulous energy to GUDM, therefore we’re soo excited for Rose and Inga to be our new Social Secs! 💙✨
