On my 7th wedding anniversary I’m reminded being married to is a lot like ice skating. Difficulty levels 10/10, very risky and a high chance of getting injured 😂 😂 but the more you practice, the easier it gets - and you are ALWAYS the first person to help me up when I fall ❤️

Three cheers for our wonderful NHS breast nurses in Lanarkshire and Forth Valley hospitals who started their training in the art of ar**la tattooing. I’m always delighted to help support this much needed service, and it’s great to have consultants and staff who feel as passionately about the patient journey as I do. Kind of a long post BUT worth a read if you care about skin products. More of my clients will notice I’m coming down a bit harder on the old skin care routine with you. A few years ago my good friend was absolutely horrified when she found out I didn’t even cleanse my face. I was too busy for all that nonsense and just relied on my makeup naturally wearing off that day before bed time 😆. I was dry, sensitive, and despite thinking I wasn’t a sun worshiper I had extensive pigmentation from years of sun exposure and no SPF. These pictures are five years apart. There is no fast fix here. Only consistency. I started off easy, learning to cleanse at the end of the day, and now I am a full blown skin care addict. I cycle and depending on what my goal is at that time. Sometimes I want to be encouraging regeneration and faster cell turn over, and sometimes I go a bit gentler encouraging balance and repair. Not only has all my pigmentation gone, I genuinely think looking at these two comparisons, my skin has aged in reverse (thanks to Nicola). For full disclosure - over that five year period I also had 1 co2 laser session, 1 Morpheus8 session and one Secret RF session. I’ve micro needled myself a handful of times (not as much as I should) but otherwise, this is good, consistent, slow progress with medical grade products (and skin boosters). So the next time I’m asking you about what your routine is, I’m trying to do you the same favour that my pal did me 5 years ago ❤️ You can all thank me later 😉

It’s this very special lady’s birthday today!! I know she’s made so many of you feel welcome when you’ve come for an appointment over the years 🥰. Michelle is one of life’s true treasures. Warm, kind, funny and completely genuine. For those that didn’t know, we’ve been friends since I was 5 years old, and thankfully I graduated from friend to sister a long time ago. Thankyou for being a light in so many peoples life - we all love you very much! ❤️
