Just so you all know, I'm Billy, I started the page many moons ago. My AKA is William Downie from my school years, I went to Glenwood from 1985 til 1989 and had some of the times of my life between there and the Croft. My Favourite Teachers Were Mr Paterson the Biology Teacher and Mrs. Douglas in Home Economics.
I am glad to meet those of you who don't know me. Most of you will know the other Admin Gary. He joined a good while back, and as I knew he was so good at this I asked him to Join as admin. At first, he was a bit apprehensive because it can get busy moderating two Group pages, and he is a busy man like most of you. He has kept the page going for the last couple of years. I only pop in from Time to time to see how things are holding up. Although I will try to be more interactive, and post a bit more content in the future.
I can't help but be amazed at the size of our wee group so please behave. Anyone posting advertisements or trying to Join with no profile Pic etc, will be Banned from the page and rejected respectively.

Glenwood Secondary School , now sadly Demolished. It really was a great School and had received the Schools Curriculum award twice.
Glenwood was a great school to go to, i left Castlemilk and returned a few years later to find the school had been demolished, sadly i cannot find much official information anywhere on the net so any info you have would be appreciated.

I have not been paying much attention to the page since I lost my wife. Our Wee School, has anyone seen the photo before that Has an Idea when it was taken ?. There's so many things missing from the picture that were there even in the 80's which was my time at Glenwood.
