About the Nursery
Happitots is situated in a fabulous purpose built property with four departments spread over two levels and with a secure outdoor play area. The nursery benefits from its location within the grounds of Garrowhill Park offering extensive space for outdoor play. Helen Healy - Nursery Manager

Playrooms within the nursery are generously proportioned, carefully pla

nned and extensively resourced to create inspiring learning environments in which children can grow and learn with confidence. Each playroom has access to outdoor play areas offering the opportunity for regular outdoor learning opportunities across all areas of the curriculum. Early Years Care & Education

Children attending the nursery are cared for by a skilled and dedicated team of early year’s professionals who plan learning opportunities to meet individual needs. Staff value children as unique individuals and have created an ethos of care, teamwork and respect where children delight in the joy of learning and discovery. Our Nursery is dedicated to providing a variety of learning opportunities for our pre-school children and so we offer Spanish classes and also free swimming classes. We are visited by a local teacher who provides more focused learning activities and opportunities for children to develop early literacy and numeracy skills. Awards & Accolades

The nursery has been recognised for its quality standards in both local and national award schemes and is a recognised Investor in People, Member of NDNA, Breast Feeding Friendly Nursery and ECO schools centre. Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer funded pre-school education sessions. Opening Hours

Opening hours are as follows:

Monday to Friday: All year round

Full Day Session: 8am to 6pm

Morning Session: 8am to 1pm

Afternoon Session: 1pm to 6pm

Fixed Holidays: 2 weeks over Christmas and New Year.

- Flexible, full or part time sessions available.
- NHS Discount 10%
- Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer FREE funded places for 3-5 year olds.

Meet SIMOA – Our Health & Safety Buddy!

This week, we were excited to introduce SIMOA to all of our children and staff!

SIMOA is our friendly Health & Safety Buddy, helping us learn about keeping ourselves and others safe every day. From remembering to wash our hands and tidy away our toys to spotting potential hazards and making safe choices, SIMOA will be joining us on our learning journey.

Our Health & Safety Buddy is linked to the Care Inspectorate's SIMOA approach, supporting us to build a positive culture where everyone plays a part in creating a safe, happy, and healthy environment.

The children are already enjoying getting to know SIMOA, and we can't wait to share more of the fun activities and learning experiences we'll be doing together over the coming weeks.
