Senior leaders from business along with representatives from Scotland's colleges and Universities, trade bodies and professional organisations will be meeting with politicians at the Scottish Parliament to celebrate the newly formed IoE. The focus is to raise the profile of online trade as the leading mechanism for helping Scottish SMEs to modernise, grow and export. The event takes place at the Scottish Parliament on Tuesday 4th February.

The newly formed Institute of Ecommerce brings together a wide range of hands-on ecommerce practitioners.
We help advise public bodies, provide skills infrastructure for businesses through the existing higher education system and help steer special projects across the common theme of ecommerce.
We aim to boost the national economy by helping reskill and train those involved in online trade and to enhance the economy using techniques to scale and improve productivity.
