Half of your money pays one of our excellent tutors to give a whole free lesson to a Scottish school pupil who otherwise wouldn't be able to afford tutoring.

Our free online tutoring is available to any Scottish school pupil who needs it. We don't means test, and aim to provide tutoring for a whole academic year.

What's a CIC?

As a government-regulated Community Interest Company, we exist to benefit our community, rather than generate profits for private shareholders.

We've committed to a legally binding 'asset-lock', which means that our company assets can only be used for social objectives.

Any profit that we do make is used to provide more free tutoring for Scottish school pupils.

This Sutton Trust report on 'Learning in Lockdown' (Jan 2021) finds that "31% of those with the lowest incomes have not been able to spend anything on their child’s learning from home since September 2020."

Learning in Lockdown - Sutton Trust How the second period of school closures is affecting pupils, teachers and parents.

We're a new community interest tutoring company based in Glasgow, and set up in 2021. Our aim is to make tutoring accessible to every student in Scotland who needs it.

To do this, we use a unique 50:50 system. For every paid lesson, we teach another lesson for free to a students who'd otherwise be unable to afford it.
