10-12 Wed & Thursday classes downstairs in studio 3, training room
12-5 all sat classes upstairs in studio 1

Kids to arrive with all uniform and costumes. Hair in high pony’s except preschool who require bunches / down if short hair. If your child requires help getting changed please stay to do so. Glitter and makeup allowed!
We will have some missing/swapped costumes but not everything. Any issues let one of our teachers know :)

Looking a little worse for wear BUT I’m calling it. 9pm to 7.45pm. Same clothes, no sleep and I would do it all again in a heartbeat. Massive shout out to and for a stellar support today and everyday. 173 bags done.

Are we the most organised and on point school? Nope. Miss Ilana is doing a PHD. Miss Lisa is going to camp America for the summer, passed her driving test yesterday and drove over to help me with costumes today. Miss Jo is a councillor, has 2 jobs and is a mother of 3. Miss Georgia also works full time. So why do costumes in this way? To keep the costs down and give kids choice. Pure and simple. Life is expensive and hard enough.

This year has been a little different. We didn’t expect a number of obstacles but guess what. We didn’t stop. We all kept going with your children as our focus. We all adore your kids.

Are some costumes missing? Yip. Will we sort it so every child feels like the super star that they are? Yip! Do you have a copy of what costumes they should have? Nope but you will 😊 Do we ask for your undivided commitment above all other activities? Nope. Our aim has always and will always be for every child to have fun at SDDA, without pressure while we plan around their development. Can we improve? Of course!!!!! But guess what…..I will still let the kids pick their costumes next year, give me stress and look unorganised because they are worth it. It is all for them after all. Let them be a vampire, a witch, a galinda and whomever else they wish to be. Because that is SDDA.

I don’t say it enough but thank you. Thank you for trusting us with your kids. They are an absolute joy and one of the highlights of my life ❤️

Our school helped make 4 teachers and another 4 are close behind. We must be doing something right 😊

We know there are brownie camps, school fayrs, events…..life in general over the weekend so have fun everyone. I’ll see most of you tomorrow and or Sunday.
