CUWiP2022 was last week. Let's rewind some of its highlights.

Front montage: The conference offered 3 fully packed days of programme including a workshop on imposter syndrome, a social in the GUU and plenty of networking opportunities.

Speakers: The key note speakers came from a variety of backgrounds, career stages and subject areas but all had one thing in common- a passion for physics and making it more diverse and inclusive.

Science centre reception: Participants were treated to a reception at the Science Centre and a tour of the planetarium. 

Poster session: The poster sessions ran different categories from research projects to favourite physics experiments to inspirational physicists. Winners received book vouchers and a seat at the conference dinner table with Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell!

Panels: Panels on careers in academia, careers in industry, I have graduated- what’s next? and intersectionality offered participants a diverse range of role models, lived experiences and viewpoints.

Job fair: CUWiP Glasgow offered an entire session focused on careers in industry/ outside academia including a fair in which participants could explore different industries, CDTs, learned societies and job sectors. A CV clinic offered focused 1:1 sessions for participants with career development professionals.

Conference dinner and ceilidh: Participants enjoyed a conference dinner with special guest and after dinner speaker Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell being a highlight for many. Dinner was followed by a ceilidh.
