The end of a very busy newsweek for our MA Multimedia Journalism students - lots of great content for TV, radio, prin and online all week!

Induction week is nearly over but we've had some great guests come in and speak to our new undergraduate students. On Monday STV's anchorman John MacKay and BA Multimedia Journalism graduate, Laura Webster, now editor of The National spoke to our journalism students. On Tuesday, other journalism alumni came to offer advice; Alan Zycinski, now of LBC, STV's Ronnie Charters and Sky Sports News' Sahil Jaidka. And on Wednesday the BA Media and Communications freshers were treated to a talk from Paul Gorton from BBC's The Traitors. A cracking, inspiring start for our newest students.

Another great day last week out visiting St Ambrose High School in Coatbridge. We put the S5 English and Media Studies pupils through their interviewing paces and they all excelled!

Great day last week with pupils from West Dunbartonshire coming into to GCU Media and Journalism department. The group from Clydebank High, St Peter the Apostle and Our Lady and St Patrick's were naturals at presenting and producing TV and radio bulletins.
