Student Welfare will be hosting drop-in sessions to support new and continuing students with navigating the private rental market. 🏠
These will be informal drop-in sessions to provide information, advice and guidance around private renting and how to navigate your search for finding accommodation. As well as a chance to ask questions and discuss issues you may be having around finding accommodation. Please note; Student Welfare are not able to find accommodation for students or advertise accommodation on their behalf.
This is an opportunity for students to ask any questions they might have and to learn a bit more about the process. Student Welfare also have some detailed information available in the form of Accommodation Guides found on the GSA Website (linked in bio).
These guides span a whole range of really useful information from Searching for Accommodation. A guide to Renting in Scotland. Advice on your rights and things to be aware of, what to do if you encounter issues with your Tenancy, and lastly, Budgeting for the Cost of Living.
If you have any questions about anything in these guides, help and support are available from our Student Welfare Team and you can contact them by emailing [email protected]
