With some different options on how to layer it up, it’s a great project piece for groups that want to branch out of their happy strummer comfort bubble!

Starting this Saturday 5th September!

We are launching some new Intro To Music classes.
After their success over the last few years, we are delighted to be taking on a new tutor to deliver even more of these classes !

Created by Ukulele Saz, who runs our Monday classes, these are a great way to introduce your little ones to the world of music. Exploring, foundational music concepts through games, singing, percussion and ukulele, and in small group sizes, these are a fantastic first step on a child’s musical path. What’s even cooler, is that they join their first ever band!

Our new classes begin Saturday 5th September, and we still have a couple of places left

Another August, another annual trip home to Scotland for Zac!

We have been doing lessons together for 5.5 years now online. Zac lives in Kenya and each year he gets taller and taller when I see him, this year seemed like the biggest growth spurt yet 🤣

He is a brilliant student, super talented and I often get sent videos of his school performances, solo and with his band!

It’s so lovely to get to hang in person and do a real life lesson together. On Monday, it was Funkytown!

The next big ukulele event… Manchester!

Thank you to the Warehouse of Thieves boys for having me again at another event.

Who’s coming along to this one? 😍

It’ll be a first visit to the city for me too, I’m really looking forward to seeing those ukulele skyscrapers in person 🏙️😉

This is the first in a series of ukulele events based in major cities, a Manchester-based weekend of ukulele fun and learning. Ukulele citybreaks are based around one central venue, where ukulele entertainment is provided from artists, together with included workshops and a chance to sing and strum

Well that was an unexpected mega fun surprise!
To top off this whirlwind summer adventure, Jo and I ended up at the Ukulele Festival of Great Britain 🔥

What a brilliant opportunity to go down and hang out with so many lovely people.
I’ve met in person so many people this summer, and I’m really just so happy to be around such a positive and inspiring community of folk 🫶🏼

It was a fantastic weekend, definitely a worthwhile trip and one to remember for sure 😍
And now.. it’s back to the new term, feeling full of fresh ideas and inspired!

Oh, and did I mention that over in Belfast the Southside Strummers came 3rd in battle of the bands this weekend too? 😎🎶

Some great pics this weekend from Bute LGBTQ+ at the buteyard

We had so much fun with Katabatic Bloom and Rainbow Ukes at their annual pride festival. Always such a lovely event, in a great venue and very well organised. Big thank you to everyone who made it such a smooth day

We love playing this venue and were so chuffed to be able to enjoy a second year and stay for the entirety after having to dash off to another gig like last time!

And..: the adventure never ends because I have one more ukulele destination to attend this month, ending a summer of lots of fun and madness 😍

But where to? This one truly is a surprise 😲🤩
