We host lots events throughout the year including: Drag shows, comedy nights and more! On Monday the 5th May, the Gilchrist Postgraduate Cafe will be closed for the bank holiday.
The Gilchrist Postgraduate Cafe will reopen on Tuesday the 6th May at the normal time of 8am.

PGR society will be holding their regular coffee morning on the 9th May, 10am-12pm in the Gilchrist ☕️🍰
This is your chance to connect with other PGRs and discuss theories, ideas, or just make new connections.
Nothing required except yourself, so make sure you come along to chat with and meet new people!

Drag 101 is bringing it to the Gilchrist runway for LGBTQ+ History Month 💖
Our dragtastic duo Dharma Geddon and Alana Duvey are back to serve the tea at one of Glasgow’s favourite drag show on the 20th February 7pm-10pm
Whether you’re a first timer or a seasoned slayer, this show is open to all and not be missed 💋 Grab a drink, meet new pals, and enjoy the show!

If you're looking for somewhere to pick up a fresh cup of coffee on campus, then remember the Gilchrist! ☕
A great place for coffee, food and for catchups with your friends. We will also be putting on some special events in January as part of our January Welcome! Keep an eye on this page for all those exciting events.

The Gilchrist is the best place on campus for coffees, food and catching up with colleague and friends. Reopening on the 3rd of January 8am, come along for the best cafe on campus.

Gilchrist Festive Opening Hours:
The Gilchrist Postgraduate Cafe will be closing tomorrow (20th December) at 2pm. The Cafe will be open on Monday the 23rd from 8am-5pm.
The Gilchrist Postgraduate Cafe will then close for the festive period and reopen at 8pm on the 3rd of January.
