The completed ceramic murual in Glasgow's Central Station based on an Art Nouveau style advert for Drooko Umbrellas. Inspired by an original by Margaret and Frances Macdonald, it was created by Make it Glasgow.

If you wish to check it out for yourself, it's on the stairs leading down to the low level platforms from the south side of Argyle Street

Salvador Dalí's iconic Christ of St John of The Cross painting, which was purchased by the City of Glasgow for the sum of £8,200 in 1952, and is now thought to be worth more than £60 million.

Regarded as one of Scotland’s most treasured paintings and the greatest work of art in Glasgow’s civic collection, it is a major draw for visitors to Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum.

Dalí was born on this day in 1904.
