Bookbug Session today -The Gruffalo

Stories, rhymes, and songs build vital foundations for early childhood development by boosting language, cognitive, and social skills in young children.

Today we started nursery lending library again.
Choosing their own book gives children a sense of personal choice and responsibility and free access to books and resources to take home. It builds a strong link between home and nursery, helps kids practice early reading skills, and lets families share quiet time together. 📚

To celebrate the end of a successful year, we will be having an End of Term Party on Thursday 25th June 🤗

The children will enjoy games, music, and party treats.

The children have been observing the life cycle of a caterpillar to a butterfly over the last two weeks and have shown a large amount of interest. The children have been learning about the four stages of the process, starting off as an egg, turning in to the larva (caterpillar), forming a cocoon and then eventually a butterfly.
We all enjoyed a Bookbug Session incorporating The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle 📘🐛
