For the month of Nov only, I will be doing tarot readings for a ridiculously low Β£10.
I have Β£750 to raise this month to cover my return flights and visa application, for my charity expedition to India with WEvolution .
Please check out my reviews at https://weetarotcompany.etsy.com to see what others have made of my readings.
All readings are sent in a PDF format with a picture of the card spread.
Places are limited (they take a wee while to do!) so book up now.
Book directly via PM (not etsy) as all money is being paid via a fundraiser page so it can be handed to the charity.
Mucho gracias, amigos!

For the month of November, Iβm taking on the mammoth task of raising Β£750 to cover my return flights from Glasgow to Bengaluru, India, as well as the cost of my Indian visa application.
As many of you know, Iβll be visiting India in February with WEvolution to connect with pioneers of the Small, Powerful Groups movement. These remarkable women have overcome monumental challenges to launch their own businesses and enterprises. Their activities range from micro-lending, empowering other women to start businesses, to establishing 100% female-owned watch factories crafting exquisite timepieces.
Upon returning to Scotland, our group will support other women in achieving their ambitions β whether itβs launching a million-pound business or helping them attend a peer gathering with free childcare and a free lunch included.
If youβd like to donate, please use this link: https://www.paypal.com/pools/c/99j1fI0j1v .
To raise money, Iβll be offering tarot card readings, selling handmade home charms, household items, vintage clothing and hosting an exciting psychic night (plus whatever else I can think of in the next month)!
Please feel free to share! Every penny is received with immense gratitude and love. Thank you so much, as always.

π Movement at Disco Kitten π
Did you know that trauma can deeply affect how we feel about exercise and movement? For many, traditional gyms can feel intimidating, overwhelming, or even unsafeβespecially if you've experienced trauma in your life. Trauma doesn't just live in our minds, it stays in our bodies too, changing the way we respond to stress and physical activity.
At Disco Kitten, we understand this. π Our unchoreographed, music-based movement sessions are designed to help you reconnect with your body in a gentle, supportive environment. Thereβs no pressure to βperformβ or meet fitness goals hereβjust a space to move freely, either roughly following the group instructor or moving however you feel comfortable. Whether you're wanting to release tension, reconnect with yourself or to feel joy, Disco Kitten is a place where you can do it all at your own pace. πΊβ¨
We take a trauma-sensitive approach to movement, acknowledging that your relationship with exercise might be complicated. Our classes are built to help you feel safe, seen, and celebrated β no matter where you're at on your journey. πΆββοΈπ
If traditional gyms donβt feel like a fit, maybe Disco Kitten will.

2nd April - commonly referred to as World Autism Acceptance Day, a part of World Autism Acceptance Week (for more info see https://www.autism.org.uk).
Now, where do we start when it comes to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and having fair and equal access to fitness and exercise? π«£π€πͺ
People living with the symptoms of autism have been grossly undeserved by the fitness community for as long as ASD has been a recognisable *disorder.
Key symptoms of ASD present in some individuals as an 'inability' to identify social cues and differences in communication. Straight away, this makes group and team sport activities, appear like an insurmountable hurdle. How can you participate in a team event, when communicating your intentions and picking up on small, nuanced non-verbal communication, maybe isn't your forte?
We then look at the need for well-developed motor skills to participate in sporting events. This well-cited study (https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/25231287/ ) highlights how ASD can present as a lack of balance and co-ordination, there again, providing a challenge for most sporting activities.
So, let's just make sure that everyone living with the symptoms of autism just sit out, right? Clearly, exercise isn't going to work.
WRONG!
We embrace diversity and welcome individuals from all backgrounds. Whether you identify as autistic, neurodivergent, high-functioning or with any other neurological variation, our commitment is to eliminate barriers to participation and ensure everyone can enjoy the full inclusivity of movement with us. Yes, even in a group setting. Something the commonly accepted rule books of ASD pedagogy will tell you is not possible. We say, 'pffffft' and 'watch us'.
*terminology used with ASD, but not implied. People living with the symptoms of autism are far from disordered.

Do you feel stressed? Lonely? Overworked? Exhausted? Lost?
You're not alone.
I am a trained fitness professional, and I am more than happy to admit that on more than one occasion I have arrived at the gym and not walked through the front door.
..but wait.
Surely everyone that exercises regularly must be pumped full of willpower!
Wrong. Willpower is a privilege.
My willpower has normally left the building by about 8.45am, after a slow descent from happy-clappy Mummy into smoke-coming-out-my-ears Mummy. Why do kids insist on ignoring you until the last minute?
My willpower has normally left the building by about 8.45am, after being not only a mother to four, but a carer too.
My willpower has normally left the building by about 8.45am, after trying to decide what to feed the family for the day, a meal that's allergy-friendly and falls within the limits of our food budget.
Only the extraordinary get up at 4am, maintaining a rigid exercise routine, whilst making huge amounts of money and going on 6 holidays a year.
The majority of us are doing what we need to do to get by. So what does this mean? We cut ourselves a bit of slack, and start making goals that are attainable.
So, next time you're thinking that the gym or spin class is just too much. Remember that you're a human living in undoubtedly crazy times, and that even going on a five minute walk is better for you than working yourself to excess and burning out.

THE ELEPHANT IN THE ROOM: What you may not be told in your local gym.
Did you know that excessive exercise and exertion can impact our stress hormone levels, especially for those living in a larger body?
When we engage in intense or prolonged exercise, our bodies release excessive amounts of cortisol, a stress hormone. While cortisol is essential for regulating metabolism and energy, excess levels can have adverse effects, particularly for larger individuals.
Elevated cortisol levels from excessive exercise can lead to increased fat storage, especially around the abdomen. Moreover, chronically elevated cortisol levels can contribute to inflammation and metabolic dysfunction, exacerbating existing challenges.
It's crucial to find a balanced approach to exercise that prioritises overall well-being and avoids excessive strain on the body. Incorporating restorative activities like yoga, meditation, a Disco Kitten session or gentle walks can help manage stress levels and support healthier outcomes.
Let's prioritise sustainable, mindful movement practices that support our bodies and promote holistic health. πͺπ

We understand that many women, especially those in larger bodies, may face unique challenges in reconnecting with exercise.
Whether you've prioritised others over yourself, faced past trauma, or struggled with body image, we're here to support you.
Our inclusive approach emphasises self-love, empowerment and reclaiming your body through joyful movement. Let's break free from societal expectations and rediscover the joy of being in motion together! πβ¨

We have no time for hum-drum.
There is a time to be serious, like when you're on the phone to HMRC or burying the hamster (RIP Hamlet), but when you have a wee bit of time to spend on you, frantically peddling like you're being chased by Beelzebub himself in a spin class isn't our idea of fun.
Move your body, bring the kids, and make movement joyful again.
We offer -
* FULLY INCLUSIVE MOVEMENT CLASSES FOR FAMILIES & ADULTS
* MOVEMENT COACHING (this is a little mix of everything - think a wee bit of jiggling around, somatic stretching, strength training and a lil bit more! All with an epic soundtrack.)
Drop us a DM or call 0141 459 1054.

We *PROMISE* to be the space you feel comfortable to move in, with no mention of weight loss, fat loss or magical beans that give you a tiny waist and a fat ass.
There's only one thing we burn, and it's societal BS that hood-winked us into thinking that that movement and finding joy in your skin was a privilege only for people with a 'normal BMI'. Do you know what we say to BMI?

So get in touch and see how we can help you find joy in movement.
