We are now accepting applications for our next wave of trainees!

Our Intro to ESOL Tutoring course will give you a solid grounding in the skills needed to support learners in our community classes - and it is an ideal 'step' towards other TEFL or ESOL qualifications! We will be delivering the course in-person in Glasgow.

Last week, Linzi and some learners from our Creative Communities Project went on a class trip to Glasgow Film Theatre to see 'Brunello: The Gracious Visionary'.

Seeing this beautiful documentary all about Brunello Cucinelli's life journey, his dedication to his craft and his interest in philosophy and building a strong sense of community has given them a lot of inspiration for making their own short film, which will be shown in December 🎬

A big thank you goes out to for organising this special trip for us! Both the film and the trip gets a five star review from all of us! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We can't believe two whole weeks have passed since our Refugee Festival Scotland event: Language, Lunch and Learn.

Learners from our ESOL classes ran stalls teaching phrases and vocabulary in Cantonese, Somali, French, Urdu and Pashto and we were treated to a delicious El Salvadorian lunch made by volunteer chef Veronica and her team from . Thank you to Refugee Festival Scotland for the opportunity to be part of the programme again this year. And a special thanks to Suzy and her team of volunteers from who hosted us so

We are delighted to share with you a little glimpse into our Creative Communities project where our learners have been working with film maker Simon from Merkstreet to create our very own short film!

This week, learners got to explore the filming equipment and we started brainstorming ideas for our first mini-project 🎥

We have a new project! 🎭🎨🎙👩🏿‍🎨

Overseen by Linzi, our Creative Communities Project offers weekly creative workshops to our learners. Learners will have a small lesson before being given a creative workshop led by a local expert. The group will work on film-making and podcast recording projects, and work towards final exhibitions that will showcase all their skills!

Thank you to The Scottish Government for funding this exciting work!
