Yesterday, I was moved by a lovely surprise visit from this wonderful pair.
Lily and Ailsa stopped by to share the brilliant news of their success in Higher Maths! 🌟

These two amazing young ladies have been part of the MTA family since S1, transforming from quiet, shy first years into the confident seniors we see today. Their journey to a quality pass in Higher Maths has been amazing!

Lily epitomises hard work and left nothing to chance. She worked tirelessly, ensuring every part of the course was mastered.
I swear, at times I could hear her brain saying,
"OK, I promise I've learned this, please have a rest!"
Her sheer determination and undoubted ability have enabled her to follow in her big sister Grace’s footsteps and smash her Higher Maths.

Meanwhile, Miss ‘School Captain’ Ailsa, who practically perfects everything she touches academically, might just take a tiny break from academics to brush up on her badminton skills—according to her friends, it’s the only arena she’s yet to conquer! 😄

Their smiles yesterday weren't just a reflection of passing an exam; they celebrated overcoming every little doubt along the way!

So, get this: I had the pleasure of tutoring Ellie’s big sister, Abbie, over 12 years ago! I have to admit, the biggest challenge for me was getting over the shock of how quickly time has flown by.

At that time, Ellie was just a wee toddler— more interested in running in circles than trying to calculate their area!

Fast forward to now, and we’re blessed to be able to play a part in celebrating Ellie’s fantastic B in her Nat 5 Maths.
