Hi everyone. I think I have successfully added you all to my parent group email again. If you have not received an email from me today, could you please send a mail to [email protected] just incase I'm a letter or so out?? Thanks everyone. And thanks for your patience while we sort this out - it's been a nightmare!! Maureen, x

After much pulling of hair and frustration, the manager@ and info@ emails are now working again. If you've tried to email either account in the last couple of days, could you resend please? I'll hopefully have the key worker emails back up and running soon. Thanks everyone.

Hi Everyone. Remember, you can PM me via this page - I'll keep an eye on it! It may be a day or so before the email upgrade is complete. And there's always the good old fashioned phone! Thanks. Maureen, x

Hi everyone. We're starting the process of upgrading our email system so it may not be the most reliable for the next few days. Catch me on the door in the morning or text or phone the nursery number if you've information we may need. Fingers crossed this will be worth the hassle and we'll have a more reliable system moving forward.

Thanks everyone.

Thanks to everyone who came along to our Haggis Hurl on Friday. What a fun time we had!! The wee ones were fab and it was great to see so many of you getting involved in the Scottish dancing. Lots of lovely memories made! Thanks to Eleni who had to step in to run the show as my voice had packed up. Absolutely not in her comfort zone, but she did a great job!! News of our Xmas activities will follow soon, but thanks again to all who got involved on Friday. Maureen, x

A wee reminder that the student doctors from the Teddy Bear Hospital will be in nursery this Wednesday afternoon. The wee ones are welcome to bring a cuddly friend from home to see the doctor.

The roads and paths around the church are quite bad this morning folks. Especially the stairs!! Please take care and don't let the wee ones run on ahead. See you all soon.

Hi everyone. I hope you're all well and staying warm in this cold snap!! The defrosting of the car in the morning is a nuisance!!

Just a couple of notes for next week for you all.

On Wednesday 27th, we'll be visited by the doctors of Glasgows Teddy Bear Hospital. They're going to provide an 'emotions' workshop for the children to follow on from what we've been talking about in nursery. Your child is also welcome to bring along a poorly cuddly toy from home to see the doctor!

Friday 29th is our annual Haggis Hurl! Come back to nursery at 2pm to cheer the wee ones on as they try to capture the unruly haggis! Those of you who've attended before will know this is a fun and nonsense activity which usually involves the staff being pelted by flying furry creatures - always a laugh! If your child doesn't usually come on a Friday afternoon but you'd like them to take part, just bring them in at 2pm to join the fun. There will be juice and shortbread - and maybe even a wee bit of Scottish dancing!

We'll be issuing sponsor forms this week and any donations will be so gratefully received. I know it's a busy - and expensive - time of year for everyone so any contributions at all will be great.

If your wee one won't make the Friday event, let me know and we'll make sure they get to take part in one of the practices before they finish up for the week.

And then we will be into December!! I'm still firming up details of the Xmas service so that info will follow.

Thanks everyone. Take care and enjoy the rest of your week.

Hi everyone. I'm having some problems with 'bouncebacks' when I'm sending out group emails. Please don't think I'm ignoring you if you've not heard from me this week. I've raised a support ticket with the email provider and it will hopefully be addressed soon. Have a lovely weekend.

A massive thank you to all who came along to our Halloween Party on Sunday. It was the busiest one I've ever seen and I'm so glad everyone had fun! Our amazing parent committee organised that for you all, so I'm sure you want me to make sure they know they're appreciated - Thanks to Ruth Mc, David, Jonathan, Ruth B, Nicola - and everyone who just pitched in on the day!
I've got a couple of unclaimed raffle prizes. If you have ticket number76, 131,147 or 340, there's a wee prize waiting for you.
I also have some unclaimed cake boxes and baking trays - let me know if they belong to you. Thanks again everyone. Your good will towards the nursery is so much appreciated. Maureen, x
