75 weddings in one year. And he came out the other side with 11 bookings.
Stevie Weir built one of the most recognisable wedding film businesses in Scotland over 18 years. Then the post-COVID boom nearly broke him.
Not because he wasn’t working hard. Because he never stopped.
Full conversation with Stevie is on the podcast now.
That Wedding Videographer Podcast
Candidly sharing our wedding videography journey, revealing the mistakes that shaped our path.
2am… the edit is DONE 🙌
But sending your couple their wedding film right now? Probably not the moment it deserves.
That’s where scheduled delivery in Vidflow changes everything.
Finish your gallery whenever you want, then choose exactly when it lands in their inbox.
Not lost in the middle of the night. Not buried in a busy morning.
Delivered at the perfect time… when they can actually sit down, press play, and feel it.
Even better, you can turn it into part of the experience 👇
Give one of them a heads up, tell them to plan a movie night, get the snacks in, maybe even a wee surprise… and suddenly your delivery isn’t just a link, it’s a moment they’ll remember.
Because how you deliver the film is part of the film.
Try scheduling a delivery with Vidflow today and use code TWVP to get 10% off pro plans and white label services
Two weeks on, and we’re still coming down from the high of this one.
People travelled from all corners of the UK, and even from the other side of the world, but once we were all in the room, it felt like one thing brought us together, kicking off the season the right way. Sharing ideas, pushing each other forward, and having a seriously good time doing it.
A huge shoutout to our partners, because without them this simply wouldn’t happen:.sound .co .co .ai i .video .pro
And to our speakers, .journee every single one of you delivered something special. If you were there, you felt it. If you weren’t, the talks will be available next week.
We also had three industry pros bringing massive value during the station breaks, .it.together.co.uk thank you for showing up and giving so much to everyone in the room. And to for keeping everyone looking sharp with fresh headshots throughout the day.
The space itself was next level. Huge thanks to for transforming so quickly and making it look incredible. And to Alyson and the entire St Luke’s team for hosting us again!
And finally, our content team. The people who made sure these moments didn’t just live in the room.Gary from capturing the photography, and Alfie & Joe from bringing it all to life on video.
This event is what it is because of the people in it.And honestly… we’re already thinking about next year.

Comment ‘2027’ to register your interest!
That Wedding Videographer Summit returns next year and tickets launch tonight at 8pm! This is the video we used to launch the 2026 event. For context, our studio apart after a wall panel lost its grip and tore our sign in half. So we adapted and used it as an opportunity to create this!
After all, the idea for this podcast started after a few venoms 😅
We had a blast this year and we hope to see you all back plus some new friends next year. Stay tuned for a further announcement tonight!
Final Cut Pro 12 just added one of the best features in years and it’s called Beat Detection 🎵
If you edit wedding films or any video to music, this is a massive time saver.
It automatically detects the beats in your music and creates a grid on your timeline so you can cut your clips exactly on the rhythm without guessing.
No more hunting for the beat.
No more messy timing.
Just clean, punchy edits that feel right.
This one feature alone makes the update worth it for me.
Would you use this on your edits?

Our fourth, and final speaker at TWVS will be Greg Burnett, 🎉
Greg has created a commanding and instantly recognisable presence on social media. From BTS to epic reels and now international workshops Greg seems to never stop putting out incredible wedding content. We are beyond excited to have Greg as part of the TWVS team! 🫶🏻
Here’s some more from Greg in his own words -
“My passion for filmmaking started in 2016, when I used to shoot nightclubs, bars and corporate events. Then not long after, Helen and I got married in Italy, and I was adamant that we didn’t need a wedding film. I didn’t see the value or the importance of film, and to be brutally honest, my mum forced me to get my wedding filmed. I mean, she paid, so…”thanks mum”. But now going into my 8th year of shooting weddings…how wrong was I?!
I owned a few other businesses before getting into weddings, and I knew how important online presence is, especially when owning/running a business. Being good at what you do, is never enough. Especially when the talent in the industry is so strong. Therefore, coming to the summit, I won’t just be talking about client relationships and the importance of getting the shot, I’ll be talking about being seen on social media, the importance of putting your face to the brand, why you should be attending workshops and more importantly, attracting the clients you deserve.
See you all there
Greg”
