A glimpse from last weekend’s performance by The Ghungroo Revolution at SAN Tv ‘s South Asian Music and Dance Festival 2026 ✨

Through Krishna Shabdam, we stepped into the world of Vaishnavi bhakti, portraying three Nayikas — each expressing a different shade of devotion and love for Lord Krishna. 💛🪷

It was a joy and privilege to bring this beautiful traditional piece to the stage and share the richness of Indian classical dance with the audience.

A heartfelt thank you to the wonderful organisers at SANTV for giving us this opportunity and for celebrating South Asian music and dance. 🙏✨

Our dance performance at the opening ceremony of the 23rd Commonwealth Games held at OVO Hydro, Glasgow has been covered by the largest circulated English-language daily newspaper in the world, The Times of India, across all its editions today! We are elated! 😍😍😍

We are truly honoured to have had the opportunity to represent Kathak and Bharatanatyam on a global stage—presenting these timeless Indian classical dance forms in their purest essence while dancing to Yes Sir, I Can Boogie! 😃

This is what The Ghungroo Revolution stands for: introducing Indian classical dance to wider audiences while staying true to its traditions, authenticity, and artistic integrity.
