AMEE INTERNATIONAL STF 2024 CALL IS OPEN

It is a great honor and pleasure to announce that the application period for the AMEE International Student Task Force 2024 has officially begun!

The AMEE Student Taskforce will be comprised of a team of enthusiastic international students who participate and assist in the AMEE Conference, the biggest Health Professions’ Education Conference annually. All health professions students are welcome to apply!

The conference will take place in a hybrid format from Basel, Switzerland, between the 24th - 28th of August 2024.

It is with great pleasure that we share with all of you the call for AMEE Student Task Force Coordinators and Representatives Support 2023/2024.

One of the major opportunities for medical students during the AMEE conference​ on medical education is to be a member of the Student Task Force (STF). The STF is coordinated by a group of 6 Coordinators, consisting of the EMSA Medical Education Liaison Officer (MELO), the IFMSA Liaison Officer for Medical Education Issues (LME), the EMSA Co-Coordinator, the IFMSA Co-Coordinator, the Online Coordinator and the Local Coordinator from Basel, Switzerland.

✨️AMEE Student and New Health Professionals Panel Members: Regional Leads and SWG members Applications✨️

We're excited to introduce a new AMEE initiative aimed at involving students and new health professionals in shaping Health Professions Education.
The panel will support representation from every world region with the appointment of one student lead, one new health professional lead and 2-3 working group members.

While we do encourage AMEE members to apply, the applicantions are open for non-members as well. Selected members will be offered a one year trial membership which they can then choose to extend at the end of their tenure in the panel.

And that's a wrap! AMEE 2023 came to a close on Wednesday. After a couple of last sessions and talks, the conference ended. Bevor that, though, the winners of several prizes and awards were announced.
Next year's AMEE Conference will be held in Basel, Switzerland from August 24 - 28. So now it's on you to decide: Will you join us there?

Day 4!
During the last full day of AMEE 2023 we were able to again help to facilitate with a bunch of different formats. Workshops, PechaKuchas, Symposia... So many opportunities! Especially exciting: multiple STF members were able to share their research, their experiences and their knowledge. So look out for us highlighting them after the conference!

Welcome to Day 3!

Day 3 hosted e-poster presentations, symposium sessions, research papers and AMEE Fringe!

During e-poster presentations some of our lovely STF members did their presentations.

During the Fringe presenters are able to present their content in non-traditional ways. Beyond others there was a musical on medical education and the struggles of students in health professions education.

Day 2 AMEE Conference

The conference moves forward in its hybrid format and different online members of the AMEE Student Task Force took part in the TEL Symposiums:

- Technology for Inclusive Education
- Short Communications
- Panel Discussion

During the sessions they discussed and evidenced the importance of how tools, education and digital health can help medical education systems to be more inclusive in their various parameters.
