Check out budding master shredder Nathan ripping a guitar solo he's making up on the spot as part of his performance of 'Ice 9' by Joe Satriani! To be at this level after playing for just 2 years is extraordinary and is an example of what can be achieved (and how quickly you can achieve it) with some dedication and passion to an instrument 🔥

Kicking off the Student Showcase new year in style with the blues rock classic 'Sunshine Of Your Love' by Cream being performed by rockstar Oscar! What else can you say about this song other than it's absolutely iconic and as Oscar has discovered, super fun to play? He's has done a fantastic job with this, with all it's riffs, chords and jumping about the strings, it takes a lot of accuracy and concentration! A superb job 🔥

A classic Beatles cut coming to you from Nathan this afternoon 🔥 There are some very fun rock 'n' roll riffs and blues chops in this song that require a solid level of technique and time keeping which he's done a smashing job with!

Check out Lila performing a slightly different version of 'Titanium' by Sia than you're probably used to hearing! This is a cool wee acoustic rendition of a pop classic that she's done an excellent job learning over the last few weeks, especially with how the rhythm of the chord progression changes with every section. Smashing stuff 👊

I've recently discovered that within the Rockschool exam syllabus there's some cool tunes they've written themselves in the style of some genres that aren't covered by the real songs they've chosen to be included at each grade. Nathan here got very excited when he heard this metal tune was included in grade 2 (which he's currently studying) and has blasted through learning it in just a few weeks! A smashing job 💪
