Today we were lucky enough to have a special visit from the local fire station 🧑‍🚒
Firefighters had a chat with the children about there job, showed the children the different parts of the fire engine and also the children got to have a try using the hose

At Thrive, children’s safety is always our top priority 🚨

As part of our emergency planning, we carry out calm, child-friendly invacuation practice drills. These are similar to fire drills, but instead of leaving the building, children and staff practise moving safely indoors;

These drills help us:
• Build confidence and familiar routines
• Ensure staff are prepared and confident
• Check our emergency procedures work effectively

We keep drills reassuring and age-appropriate, using calm voices and simple instructions. They are a precaution and an important part of keeping everyone safe.

Our pre-school children have shown an interest in doing each others hair and the staffs this week. While out a walk this morning we bought some shampoo and hair accessories as Annika kindly volunteered to let the children wash her hair! Annika your hair was beautiful the children did a good job and were very gentle 🧴 🚿 🫧

Hello parents,
We are looking for clothing donations to add to our home corner. We are looking for things like men's jackets, womens dresses, costumes, hats, bags, costume jewellery, scarfs , pots and pans unused make-up brushes , empty make up boxes , etc. Anything is greatly appreciated.

Today our toddlers and pre-school children went out for a walk to the local park and took Simoa with them to show how safe we can be on a walk following all the road safety rules walking carefully and listening to our teachers Simoa was so impressed with how well children did , when out we went to the local pond to let the children feed the ducks we got so excited as we seen 4 swans 2 adults and 2 baby’s

🌿 Sunday = a day to slow down, breathe and recharge… and Acorn is absolutely on board! 🐻💚

Our Thrive mascot, Acorn, recently joined the children at Happitots Robroyston for their very own relaxation day — and he discovered that the children are actually very good at relaxing! 🥰

From peaceful yoga 🧘‍♀️ to soothing foot spas 🦶✨, the children had the perfect opportunity to pause, unwind and enjoy some well-deserved calm.

And, of course, Acorn joined in with all the fun! 🐻🌿

It was a lovely reminder that wellbeing isn’t just about being active — rest, relaxation and taking time to look after ourselves are just as important.

So this Sunday, take a little inspiration from Acorn… find a quiet moment, stretch, breathe, relax and recharge. 💚

Yesterday our pre-school children were learning there left and right and what better way to do that than with a game of twister 🤣

The children had so much fun while learning at the same time we had a few staff Vs children and safe to say the children won everytime 😜
