I am thinking of our trips out to the clay pits, watching the swans but also the guys fishing in the canal.

This morning we teamed up with the workers from Glasgow City Council, who did one side of Kelbourne St and we did ours. We even manage to work as far as into Sanda Street. Well done, P4s of Dunard. Yet another great job done by all. 💪

The tidy- up- team from Dunard has done an excellent job again this morning: tidying up the curb and pavements.

It’s a new term at Kelvingrove Woodcraft Folk and spaces are available for more children to join. Come along to make new friends, do fun activities and learn about making the world a fairer, greener, more peaceful place

And so the countdown begins: we are promised to have a water connection in two sleeps! Water Wise has dug today and will continue tomorrow. Scottish Water will then switch us to the mains and install a metre on Wednesday.
We are looking forward to having access to drinking water, water to wash hands with and we will be able to water the plants (when absolutely necessary in weeks of dry weather- it does happen sometimes!!!). This has been a long bumpy ride, esp for funding, but we feel we have made a massive step forward in making our work more sustainable, better and safer. Hooray!
