Active Learners!
Learning time with Kim and some coloured bean bags 😀
This morning the children were keen to explore the bean bags. They were issued with a coloured bean bag and they had to find a friend who had the same coloured bean bag as them (matching)
The children then balanced their bean bag on different parts of their body as well as pass the bean bags to each other.
Lastly the children were presented with a huge challenge..... they had to walk across the green mat whilst balancing the bean bag on their head. (Don’t let it drop)
Great learning taking place 😀😀

Active Learners!
This afternoon Jade introduced the importance of traffic lights and how to keep safe when out in the community.
The children really enjoyed sharing their knowledge and experiences in relation to this “you cross the road safely”, “red means stop, amber means get ready and green means go”, “you have to wait for the green man”.
They then created some yummy traffic light 🚦 biscuits to take home. Well done everyone 😀😀

Active Learners!
This afternoon the children participated in a number and counting activity with Mikaila.
Using their “number fingers” the children were able to count out how many fingers they had. They also enjoyed singing some number songs “1 little finger, 1 little finger , 1 little finger tap, tap, tap. Point to the celling, point to the floor and lay them on your lap, lap, lap”.
Why don’t you practice some counting at home as the children are really enjoying this 😀
