Society meets on the second Thursday of the month from October to April in the Gregory Building, University of Glasgow, from 730pm. Tea, coffee, lively discussion and a bookshop are held after the talks.

Our first monthly lecture of the session (Lithium Exploration: Scotland and Beyond) is tomorrow at 7pm in the Kelvin Hall Lecture Theatre. This is a free event, and you do not need to be a member. Please do pop along.

🥇 T.N GEORGE MEDAL

This year we are asking for nominations from the Membership for our 2027 T.N George Medal, awarded “for excellence in palaeontology and/or stratigraphy”.

ANYONE, member or not, can nominate a suitable candidate, which should be sent to [email protected] no later than 15 October with a reason for nomination attached.
