We're back at work after a brilliant weekend with the Big Noise United Orchestra who performed in the Caird Hall in Dundee on Saturday. We're so proud of our young musicians from Govanhill who worked hard to create an incredible sound together with their friends from Big Noise centres across Scotland!

It was also wonderful to welcome back some of our alumni who came to join us on concert day - can you spot any familiar faces?

Our second group of young people are now on their way to join the Big Noise United Orchestra residential - meeting up with young musicians from Big Noise centres across Scotland to form a symphony orchestra! 🤩☔️🎺

The Big Noise United Orchestra 2026 concert takes place at Caird Hall, Dundee on Saturday at 2.30pm - get in touch if you'd like information on tickets!

It's day two of holiday club - we're playing lots of music and having lots of fun in the Govanhill sun! 🥳☀️🎻

D Orchestra, C Orchestra, and Beginner Band are here from 10am-1.15pm

Wind Band, B Orchestra, United Training, and Concert Band are here from 12pm-3pm.

And they're off! Our first group of young people are now on their way to the Big Noise United Orchestra residential - some of them staying away from home for the very first time!

Last Sunday we took seven young people to Hutcheson's Grammar for the Scottish Schools Orchestra Trust (SScOT) Play Away Day.

They had a great day learning two new pieces completely from scratch and performing them in a concert at the end of the day - well done!

Big Noise musicians had a wonderful time in the world of books at Annette Street Primary School, exploring stories through spoken word and song for World Book Day! 🌎📖🐛

Our Community Orchestra, Del Mondo, are performing with the Prince & Princess of Wales Hospice Community Choir and the Hospice Harmonisers this Thursday at 5-6.30pm at the PPWH Hospice in Bellahouston park. 😍
