Our screening of The True Cost movie was a big success. 130 people attended and most stayed on for the discussion facilitated by Phil Hanlon and myself. Most people wanted to talk about how shocked and saddened they were by the content of the film but nonetheless they thought it was essential viewing. 'We all need to know this stuff' sums up the views of many who turned up.' We shall publish a full summary of the postcard comments we got from people on the evening in due course. I am going to collate some information on what people can do - i.e. what are the better alternatives for buying clothes. I'll put this together from various sources in the next week or so. Please let us know your suggestions and thoughts. Meanwhile if you couldn't manage to come along to the showing and would like to see the film it is easily available on-line.
