We support schools in transforming teaching and learning through the adoption of new technologies to improve the quality of learning for children.

We provide training and consultancy in the pedagogic use of different technologies....that sounds complicated! Basically, we build teachers digital confidence and competence so that they can help develop the digital skills that our young people need to reach their full potential.

This short film is pretty old now - it was produced 6 years ago but it's still hugely relevant. A teacher asked me today if I thought kids were digital natives - I think that they born able to consume digital media. My daughter Mia has been able to use Youtube on my iPhone since she was 14 months - she can select videos, stop them when she's not interested anymore, she can scroll through more til she finds something else. The amazing thing is she tends to watch exactly the same videos each time she has my phone! So yes this generation of kids are born able to consume media. They aren't born naturally able to develop/create media...and it's hugely important that we help them develop these skills.
