Drum Lessons Glasgow Southside- James Gilmour Hi All, welcome to my page! Drum lessons offered by professional drummer/educator James Gilmour. Cur Students of all ages and abilities are welcome!

Whether you are a complete beginner or have previous experience, you will be taken through a comprehensive syllabus of material through which you will learn to play or enhance your existing skills. Whether you just want to learn to play some of your favourite songs, are studying music at SQA or graded levels or are already a professional, don’t hesitate to get in touch! Full Rockschool syllabus is

taught, for anyone wishing to enter graded exams. Specialist areas offered to advanced players include; brush playing, soloing/improvising, chart reading, styles study, hybrid drumming & more. Zoom/Skype/FaceTime lessons are offered, for those of you wishing to take lessons from the comfort of your own home. There is also the option of my Online Drum School subscription, a website consisting of pre-recorded video lessons, transcriptions, student progress pages and general drumming resources. Drum teacher training is also offered to drummers who wish to learn teaching techniques and syllabus planning. Lesson duration can be 30 mins, 45 mins or 60 mins depending on your preference. Ten percent discount is given for block bookings of 4+ lessons.
