There are plenty of ways to be involved with your Faith at Glasgow University. GUCA is one of GU's top student societies, and we are among the biggest and best Catholic Associations in the UK. Much of our activity centres around our four main groups; the Catholic Society meetings, our Society of St Vincent de Paul (SSVP) group, our Society of St Cuthbert men's group, our Legion of Mary Praesidium,
and the St Maria Goretti prayer group for female students. In addition to this, we also have much, much more going on, including high-profile social events throughout the year. Feel free to get involved- in any capacity that you wish- and you'll be made to feel welcome. Embracing a strong and positive community of other young Catholics when you're a student is something that can give you a solid foundation for life. GUCA is based at the Catholic Chaplaincy, right in the middle of campus at Turnbull Hall, 15 Southpark Terrace (about half way between the uni library and Stevenson Building). Mass is celebrated Monday-Friday at 1.05pm, Saturdays at 10:30am, and on Sundays at 9am, 11am, and 6pm. Confessions are heard from 12.45pm-1pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and 10am on Saturdays.
