Primary Play Care Providing Out of School Care for Primary School age children in Giffnock & Glasgow City Centre We are registered for 50 places both morning & afternoon.

Giffnock Breakfast Club operates from Giffnock Primary and After School Club operates from Orchardhill Memorial Halls. Glasgow Gaelic School After School Club operates from the Glasgow Gaelic School, Berkeley Street. We have 50 places. Our Lady of the Missions Breakfast Club & After School Club operates from two locations, the Junior Department (Annexe Building) and Woodfarm Pavilion with 50 morning and afternoon places available in both locations.

We have been having lots of fun since returning after the summer break🏖️
We had a great visit from the local fire brigade, celebrated the solar eclipse with our special solar eclipse glasses 🌘 the children enjoyed our PPC mascot’s birthday plus playing with our new Gotham city and all things Batman… very on topic with filming going on in the city centre 😌🦇🚓

The police visit was also very successful but unfortunately we are not petmitted to post any pictures but we all had a fab time.

Also as a way of getting to know each other and to welcome all our new starts, the children and staff had a little interview session which was acgreatvwaybto find out a little more about each other with each other 🤗

Lots more planned and to look forward to in September so watch this space 👀

We have been super busy at Woodfarm!
The children enjoyed making delicious chocolate crispy cakes!!🧁 🍫
We painted sand art pictures, which turned out amazing 🖼️ 🖌️ 🎨
The children created their own dog models out of clay for International Dog Day 🐶
We also went on a Nature Walk and found flowers, leafs and lots of other cool things! 🍃 🌷
We cannot wait to see what September brings 😊☀️

What a great first week back at Orchardhill! 🎊
We’ve had such a fun week filled with painting 🎨 and making friendship bracelets 👯‍♀️to baking delicious Empire biscuits 🍪 There’s been something for everyone.
We’ve also been busy buying properties in Monopoly 🏠💰 and we also watched the solar eclipse! 🌑✨ Orsin, Sophie, Izzy and Eliza worked together to create an amazing bug hotel 🐞🐝🏡 we can’t wait to see who checks in! What a brilliant start to our time back at Orchardhill! 🙌

Welcome back we had a fantastic first couple of weeks at OLM 🙌🏼
We welcome all our new children, who have settled in well. We've also welcomed two new members of staff, Miranda & Zenab who are already getting to know everyone🤗
On our 1st day back the children received their solar eclipse glasses🌘😎 and created amazing solar-theme artwork🪐💫✨They also made galaxy-inspired play dough, fab puppets and even designed our very own version of a Beyblade, which was a hugh hit! We've enjoyed trying out our new pool table, had great fun playing hospitals and spend time outdoors building dens🛖

What a great first week we have had here at Woodfarm! It has been great to see all the children again, and welcome new faces in 😊We would like to give a warm welcome to our new staff member Scarlett! 👋
On Wednesday, we all had our glasses on ready to watch the solar eclipse 👓 🌘🌙
We then created solar eclipse art using lots of crayons and coloured pencils, these turned out amazing! 🖼️ 🌜
We had lots of fun making wool Pom Pom’s and friendship bracelets! ✨

That’s a wrap on an amazing final week of term ! we’ve had so much fun with our own versions of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! , our P7’s Graduation and Fun day, A brilliant water fight, and of course saying goodbye to our P7’s ! We will miss you all so much as you head off to High School🥲

We’re already looking forward to welcoming our new Primary 1 children who will be joining us in August⭐️

What a fun and busy month June has been in Woodfarm!
We created nature dioramas for nature week 🍃 🌷
We baked yummy shortbread biscuits 🧑‍🍳
For Father’s Day we made cards and decorated stones as gifts! 🎁
We had our P7 graduation and Fun Day. The children had lots of fun getting face painting, tattoos and playing on the bouncy castle! We are sad to say goodbye to our P7’s but wish them good luck for high school 😊🍀
We would also like to say good luck to Laura P as she goes on to pastures new… we will miss you Laura! 👏🏻🥰

We have had lots of fruit filled fun by making felt fruit magnets, fruity coasters and fruit dream catchers🍎🍓🍌🍊 Making special Father’s Day cards for our dads 💌 Taking on exciting obstacle courses 🏅🏃‍♀️ Showing off amazing talents at our talent show 🎤🎭 Celebrating summer with face paints, games and lots of smiles 🌈 Saying goodbye and congratulations to our P7 leavers at their graduation ceremony – we are so proud of you all and wish you all the best of time at high school! 🎓
