Providing Out of School Care for Primary School age children in Giffnock & Glasgow City Centre We are registered for 50 places both morning & afternoon.

Giffnock Breakfast Club operates from Giffnock Primary and After School Club operates from Orchardhill Memorial Halls. Glasgow Gaelic School After School Club operates from the Glasgow Gaelic School, Berkeley Street. We have 50 places. Our Lady of the Missions Breakfast Club & After School Club operates from two locations, the Junior Department (Annexe Building) and Woodfarm Pavilion with 50 morning and afternoon places available in both locations.

What a fantastic month at Orchardhill! 🌟💙

Our children have been very busy getting creative and having fun with a variety of exciting activities, including
💥making our very own colourful playdough 🎨
💥making delicious empire biscuits 🍪
💥designing a vibrant Sports Day banner to cheer on our team mates 🏃‍♂️🏅
💥creating Bonnie Wee Scotland flags 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
💥Ice lolly fridge magnets🍦 🧲 💥💥recycling our resources using their imagination through amazing junk modelling creations ♻️✨.

Our children also threw Claire a surprise party for her 50th birthday 🎂🥳

This month, we also said farewell to Maja so wish her all the very best for the future and thank her for all the amazing memories. ❤️👋

We have had a fun busy month here in Woodfarm!
The children designed their own fuzzy felt animal magnets for Endangered animals! 🦒 🦓
We had lots of fun creating our own stress balls, and hosting a teddy bear picnic! 🧺 🐻
For Bee-Positive day the children made bee honeycomb pictures! 🐝 🍯
We have loved seeing the creations the children have made out of Lego too, and are so proud of the children’s achievements they have shared with us!
We can’t wait to see what June brings! 🏃‍♂️ 😊

We have been very busy these past few week. The children have been made a drinks 🥤vending machine out of junk modelling, 📦✏️while using their team building skills and imagination.
The children have also been learning about nature by making a moving caterpillar enjoying its natural surroundings🍃🐛and our oceans 🌊🐠 making colourful shiny fish.
As our P7’s graduations get closer the children have been making their invitations 🧑‍🎓🎓👩‍🎓

What a fun-filled month we’ve had at Orchardhill 🌈

Over this past month we got creative making our very own Easter eggs, beautiful sunflowers 🌻, animal masks 🐯 Pom Pom caterpillars 🐛 and glittery mermaids 🧜✨ We also had an egg-citing trip to Huntly Park for our Easter egg hunt 🥚🐰

The children had a bounce-tastic time on our bouncy castle day 🎉 and we are so proud of our Primary 7s who designed their own invitations for their Graduation party!🎓💌

So much fun, laughter and memories made this month at Orchardhill 🥳

We have had a fantastic busy few weeks here at Woodfarm since coming back from our Easter Break! We hope you all enjoyed!
We had lots of fun decorating out of this world planets 🪐 🌍
We celebrated World Pretzel Day by making yummy pretzels! 🥨
We done amazing leaf paintings for Earth Day🍃
For national superhero day, the children designed their own superhero! We also created our very own comic strips!🦸‍♂️
The children have enjoyed singing karaoke too, and we have had lots of fun outdoors in the sun ☀️ 🎤
We can’t wait to see what May brings!

This week at OLM we have been making some popcorn necklaces at Friday Club, and made some of our own cloud dough which worked really well and was very messy 🫟 we also made some spring bird feeders with Cheerios to help the new birds in our gardens, and did some Easter crafts! We made some Easter crowns and bonnets, Easter cards and posters and also made some purple grapes for National purple day! 🍇 we finished the last day of school with an Easter scavenger hunt and won some chocolate eggs for our hard work, and enjoyed our Easter party! 🥳 🐣 We hope you all have a fab Easter break! What a busy few weeks we have had here at Woodfarm afterschool and breakfast club!
We celebrated Mother’s Day with lots of lovely cards and some tasty chocolate treats 🍫
We also celebrated St. Patrick’s Day with leprechaun hats and we also had a special visit from some Irish musicians 🍀 along with celebrating Eid Mubarak!
We had such a great time during our spring and Easter weeks! 🐣
We made fluffy spring lambs 🐑, had an Easter egg drawing competition and went for an Easter egg hunt 🪺

We have been doing lots of fun actives at Orchardhill recently✨

We made some amazing scarecrows 🌾 got creative with our lovely Mother’s Day teapots 💐 and celebrated St Patrick’s Day with fun crafts ☘️

We also made some delicious empire biscuits (they went down a treat 😋) and made glittery binoculars ready for own little adventures 🔭

Our older children also took part in a bowling tournament and showed off some fantastic skills 🎳👏

Our children have been full of creativity, teamwork and fun as always 💛

It’s been a fun few weeks at OLM club! Mother’s Day cards were in full swing and they looked so good! The 3D hands were amazing👋🏼
We also made Mother’s Day bracelets for our lovely mums.

Then we made some playdough to use in the club which worked out really well, and we opened our own bakery in the tuff tray!
On Friday we had a pyjama day and Diane did some lovely hand massages which was very relaxing.

We celebrated St Patricks Day with cards and making our own St Paddy’s fortune tellers for a bit of our own luck of the Irish! ☘️ and don’t forget all the baking we’ve been doing with some St Patricks cake pops and some banana bread made from scratch! 🍌
