Busy delivering off road driver training on Unimog all this week down in North Wales. The Unimog in it’s natural environment.

4x4 training to finish the week of…….in pretty extreme conditions. To be honest I wasn’t sure if we would be able to go ahead with the training, but we dropped the tyre pressures down to 15psi and with some careful route planning - the Hilux managed no problems at all. Well done to the candidates for passing and gaining their Lantra Awards certification.

It’s been a week of off-road driver training for Contour. We have had all shapes and sizes of vehicles, all with their own characteristics…….ie high center of gravity…….15tonne in mass.
I still have huge admiration for the Mercedes Unimog, it always surprises me.

Amazing start to the week for Contour Training, we have been working with our friends Off-Piste Agri Ltd demonstrating the Fat Truck to the Uk market. This truly is a game changing machine in the ATV off-road world. I have been delivering training in all types of 4x4 & ATV vehicles for 20 years now and I’m a 100% blown away with how it performed with everything we threw at it, it’s ease of use for the operator, comfort, stability and most importantly.....safety.

Fist post for quite a while, we’ve been very lucky to have plenty of work throughout the pandemic. So we have been keeping our heads down and getting on with it.

Over the last week Contour Training has had the privilege of delivering 4x4 off road driver training to an amazing local charity, Trossachs Search + Rescue Team. What an amazing service they provide, a true asset to the community they serve.

Great day ATV training with the guys from Mactrax.
The Softrak is a fairly new edition to their fleet so wanted to get the right training to ensure safety and compliance, which will give their clients confidence in the service they provide. Win, win for everyone. 👍🏻
This course was to Lantra Awards accreditation but Contour Training can also offer the same training to NPORS standard, just depends on what industry you’re in.

Finished off land week with some off road driver training on one of my favourite vehicles, the Unimog. And starting this week with a novice forklift course for one of our salmon fish farming clients.

It’s also going to Shetland, the client needed a machine that could carry a larger drilling rig across soft ground, think this ticks all the boxes.
