Our Modern Apprentice Amy Mulholland received student of the month in the month of February. This was to highlight how far Amy has come on as a student and how well she contributes in classes.

When Amy came on to the Modern Apprenticeship programme, she could never have imagined herself standing up in front of a class presenting work on behalf of her group and now this is something she enjoys doing. Amy shows confidence in presenting work to others, sharing good practice, knowledge and understanding with her peers.

Amy informed her workplace that she had received student of the month due to her contribution in class and presenting work to others. Her workplace recognised this achievement and invited Amy to research and present theory work to her colleagues. This was discussed at Amy’s progress review where Amy showed pride in her work and her mentor highlighted how well she has progressed and how valued she is in the workplace.

As a result of all this, we would like to recognise Amy as one of our star students! Well done Amy 👏⭐️

Jennifer has been busy carrying out observations with our Foundation Apprenticeship candidates, supporting them as they put their knowledge into practice within real early years environments 👏

It’s always so lovely to see the settings our candidates are learning in and Renton ELCC didn’t disappoint 🌿 The outdoor environment was incredibly welcoming and thoughtfully planned, creating the perfect space for children to explore, imagine and thrive.

We especially loved seeing the outdoor stage in action, where children regularly come together to tell stories, sing songs and express themselves with confidence 🎭🎶

We are proud to be working in partnership with West Dunbartonshire Council this year to deliver the Foundation Apprenticeship programme, supporting the next generation of early years practitioners 🌟
