This event will look at how social scientists use survey data to predict election results. The discussion will focus on the reasons why many polls incorrectly predicted the 2016 US Presidential Election and Brexit. After the discussion, attendees will have a chance to attempt to predict the results of a second referendum using recent British Election Study survey data.
