CADathon is back…!!!
For a 2nd year running in partnership with IMechE Young Members, Engineers Without Borders Heriot Watt and CHAIN.



This event is a fantastic opportunity to collaborate, innovate, and enhance your skills in computer-aided design. Join us to work on creative projects, tackle challenges, and connect with fellow students and industry professionals.



The details:

• Date - Wednesday 6th November
• Time - ALL DAY (Timings will be confirmed shortly)
• Venue – Trades Hall, Merchant City, Glasgow
• You will be given a design challenge that you will have to solve throughout the day.
• Teams of 3 (we recommend at least one person is on a different course.
• Open to ANY engineering discipline!
• Transport will be covered if you cannot use a Young Scot Card.


THE PRIZE (per team member)

• 3X INTERVIEWS FOR PAID INTERNSHIPS WITH NMIS (SUMMER ‘25)
• £200 CASH PRIZE EACH
• Runners up will enter the talent pool for NMIS and receive £50 each.
• Induvidual Prizes given out on the day.
• SpiritAero Systems, CENSIS, CEED, Gibson Robotics and Ailsa Reliability Solutions will also be attending to scout top talent.
