"Hungary's new prime minister Peter Magyar suggested he would be happy to move forward on Ukraine's accession once Budapest's outstanding issues with Kyiv were resolved.

A breakthrough came earlier when Mr Magyar announced a "historic agreement" had been reached with Ukraine on the rights of its Hungarian ethnic minority, an issue that has long strained relations between the neighbours."

“A few hours after the announcement of the results and while euphoria was still strong among the supporters of the “Leave” camp, a first interview with Nigel Farage on the ITV Good Morning Britain program caused general astonishment. He told the two journalists that the promise to pay the amount of the contribution to the European budget to the budget of the National Health Service (NHS) – the British public health service – will “probably not be delivered”.”

“The survey, conducted in eight European countries, found that favourable views of the EU are now higher than they were at the time of the Brexit referendum.

Across the UK and seven EU member states, tracked consistently since 2016, 62% of respondents now have a positive view of the EU, compared with 49% a decade ago.

The findings suggest that rather than triggering a wave of Euroscepticism, Brexit may have ushered in a period of renewed support for European integration.”
