NEWS ALERT for Yvonne Hanley Childminding ! After nearly 10 amazing years I'm moving on. Ive had the absolute pleasure of caring for THE best little people treasured times watching them grow! They have become my little troop/ family / friends but Im hanging up my hat and moving onto something new ! Time for a change now but how much have I loved it - soo much ! Its been a joy all those little faces and their parents trusting me with their little people ! So thank you all only got a few days left in summer then Im done 😃👍❤😥

To all the new mums of 20/21...
I think about you often.
I remember the relentless rollercoaster of this time, I can’t imagine what it must be like in a pandemic.
No friends dropping by to fuss, bring food or run the vacuum around.
No baby groups.
No coffee catch-ups with other mums, to soothe the sleepless night solitude.
No drop-in centres to beg for advice.
No busy life to take you out of your own head.
And goodness only knows, a new mum needs to get out of her own head.

I wonder how you coped with this collective stress, alongside the overwhelming new mum anxieties, that shake you to the core.

I hope you're doing okay.
I hope you're being kind to yourself.
I hope no one is putting too much pressure on you to be perfect.
Perfect doesn’t exist.
Your baby loves and needs the very smell of you, the very sound of your voice.
The very touch of your skin, is everything to that little human.
Nothing else matters.

And remember, milestones or routines mean nothing in a pandemic.
You do you.
