We are incredibly excited that the conference is TOMORROW and to announce our programme! 🤩 We thought we would give you some further information about the day to help everything run to plan…
Registration will begin from 9:00 in the JMS lecture theatre 639 (6th floor). Here, you will collect a goody bag, lanyard, and name badge. The Glasgow Children’s Hospital Charity will also be running a pop-up shop at this time. 🛍️
We are scheduled to start the welcome talk at 9:30, so please arrive no later than 9:25. During the comfort break attendees will be offered the opportunity to visit the pop-up shop, and we will be providing some pastries and cold drinks. Unfortunately we are unable to offer lunch, but you are welcome to eat in the JMS/Medical school atrium. 🍴
In the afternoon, we have 4 clinical skill sessions which are also detailed above, starting at 13:30 so we would appreciate if you could meet us back in the WMSB clinical skills area at 13:20. The close and feedback session will end at 16:00. 🩺
We will be sending out certificates for all attendees to your emails in the following weeks. 📝
What to bring:
- Stethoscope for clinical skills (don’t worry if you don’t have one, we can provide some)
- Lunch (or head to shops)
- Notepad/laptop for notes
- Questions
Dress code: smart casual (but as long as you feel comfortable, we are happy!)
Any questions please don’t hesitate to get in touch, see you all there! 💜👧👶👦
