REACT First Aid Training

Saturday will be the last day of the last course for this year.

Back in January and will schedule more public courses as most have been arranged groups or courses booked by businesses.

Thanks to staff at Glasgow Ski & Snowboard Centre for hosting this weeks Activity First Aid course. Ideal facilities for outdoor courses.

Not forgetting the instructors from various centres who attended and for your participation.

One of the happiest looking hypothermic casualties I've seen. Ironically doing this scenario on the warmest day in a while.

An Activity First Aid course is running at Glasgow Ski & Snowboard Centre on the 4th and 5th Oct. The AFA course is suitable for outdoor instructors and group leaders and of course is accepted by associations such as BASI & SSS.

Outdoor instructors & group leaders - an Activity First Aid course is scheduled for Sat&Sun 9th-10th Sept at Snow Factor.
Completion of the course leads to a SCQF level 5 Award in Activity First Aid.

A midweek Emergency First Aid at Work course (EFAW) has been scheduled, split over 2 weeks and running 6.30-10pm on Wed 13th and 20th Sept. The course will take place at Braehead (Snow Factor).

Completion of the course leads to the SCQF Award in Emergency First Aid at Work.

Defib training is standard on all courses including the 1 day course.

Specific training on CPR and defib usage can be arranged. It's a shorter course (3hrs).

2 day Activity First Aid (outdoor instructors and group leaders)

3 day First Aid at Work (FAW)

I will be adding at least one other EFAW course.
