Achieve internationally recognised qualifications through our comprehensive surgical examinations.

MRCS Part A is a written examination that tests the applied knowledge of basic sciences and of principles of surgery in general. Apply for the exam (9 September) by Wednesday 1 July at: rcp.sg/mrcsa

MRCS Part B OSCE is a practical examination that assesses the essential surgical skills, clinical competence and professional behaviours expected of a surgeon in training. Eligible candidates can apply for this exam (6-7 October) in Glasgow, Scotland by Thursday 24 July at: rcp.sg/mrcsb

FRCS Ophthalmology Part 3 in Delhi, India (21-24 September) is a structured oral and clinical exam that assesses decision-making, communication and professional skills required for independent ophthalmic practice. Eligible candidates can apply for this by Monday 6 July at: https://ow.ly/8GFq50Z7W0M

Applications are open for eligible candidates sitting MFDS Part 2 under the current syllabus.

This exam is available in Glasgow, Scotland and Manchester, England on 5-6 November.

Applications close on Monday 31 August.

It’s roughly one month until the International Sports Surgery and Medicine Conference takes place.

Students who’ve completed certain Travel Medicine Diplomas with our College could progress to an MSc Advanced Practice pathway.

MSc Advanced Practice (Travel Medicine) is available having completed RCPSG Postgraduate Diploma in Travel Medicine. This will build on your and skills developed during the Diploma and supports you to further advance their expertise in your specialist field of Travel Medicine.

MSc Advanced Practice (Expedition and Wilderness Medicine) is the next step if you’ve successfully completed RCPSG Postgraduate Diploma in Expedition and Wilderness Medicine. Combined with the Diploma, this integrates practical learning with research capability and academic depth.
