✨ Spa Partnership Spotlight | Archerfield, Fletchers cottage✨

Last week, we had the pleasure of visiting our wonderful spa partners at Archerfield for a strategy meeting and to plan for an exciting milestone ahead.

This October, we’re delighted to welcome Joe onto our next Spa Traineeship, where he’ll be working towards his CIBTAC Level 2 Facial Skincare and Level 3 Body Massage qualifications.

Joe will also be our first male trainee, which makes this an especially exciting moment for us. We’re passionate about opening doors, championing inclusivity and showing that the spa and wellness industry is a career for everyone, regardless of gender.

A huge thank you to Mel & Kim from Archerfield for such a lovely day, the warm welcome and continued partnership. It’s always a pleasure spending time in such a beautiful spa and working together to create opportunities for the next generation of industry professionals. 🤍

We can’t wait to welcome Joe in October and follow his journey!

A huge welcome and well done to our August intake of Level 2 Facial Skincare Therapists! ✨

These amazing students have now completed their fundamental practical training, with theory embedded throughout their hands-on learning. They’re now moving on to complete their individual learning plans, checking in week by week with their fantastic trainer, Carol, for continued guidance and support.

They’ve done an incredible job so far, and it was wonderful to hear such positive feedback from their models. We’re so proud of their progress and can’t wait to see them continue developing their skills and confidence! ✨

We’re already looking forward to welcoming our next intake in October, and we currently have just two spaces remaining.

✨ Another full-circle moment.

Jenny and Kate enjoyed a wonderful day at One Spa yesterday.

Earlier this year, Fiona and Sadia took a leap of faith by introducing The Academy’s CIBTAC Spa Therapist Traineeship into One Spa. The trainees they selected have been outstanding, and it has been a pleasure to support them throughout their training journey.

The visit began with the opportunity to experience one of One Spa’s new reformer classes, followed by lunch with Fiona and Sadia before Jenny carried out the trainees’ mock practical assessments ahead of their summative exam on 24th August. The standard was exceptional, and the future is certainly bright for these aspiring therapists.

While speaking with the trainees about the opportunities a career in beauty and wellness can bring, Jenny shared a personal story. Twenty-five years ago, after qualifying as a beauty therapist, she visited One Spa with her mum and said, “Imagine being able to work somewhere like this one day.”

Fast forward to today, and she returned to help train One Spa’s future therapists—a true full-circle moment and a reminder that with passion, dedication and belief, dreams really can become reality. ✨
