The nursery was opened in September 2020 and is family-owned by Dann and Lorraine Slater, who have 3 children of their own.
The former office is situated in the heart of Darnley and has been extensively refurbished and modified to a high standard.

Our Summer Fayre is this Saturday 3rd of August 10-1pm.
All our families (old, current and new) and community are invited to come along and share the day with us.
We will have a number of local small businesses selling their products (handmade gifts, cards, baby clothing, hair bows, home baked goods plus many more).
There will also be a bouncy castle, face painting, food truck, fire engine and our raffle.
This event is mainly cash only.
Today in our Shooting Stars the children have been on a treasure hunt.
It started off with one of the children asking to find treasure, this then led them on to making treasure maps which they then used to head out to the garden to look for the buried treasure.
Well done Shooting Stars, a great example of leading children's learning. π

This week some of our children have been learning about plants.
We started the week off by going for a walk to look at the different plants and trees, we then took our learning to the garden where we planted our own flowers and learned we must water them to grow.
We finished the week by visiting B and Q where we looked at different plants and flowers.
Pre-School Graduation Walk

This week some of the children in the 3-5 room have been learning about wind.
We learned wind is a type of force which pushes you.
We first tried to create our own wind but we weren't quite strong enough to blow the trees π, after we used the ribbons to watch how they move in the wind and found if we ran or held them up high they moved faster.
Following on from this we then made paper aeroplanes and took them outside to fly them creating different obstacles to try and fly them through the tyre.
Today some of our children in the 3-5 room made their own little spa where they enjoyed pampering each other.
Our Stay and Play Session will be on Friday 3rd May at 9:30-10:30.
Families are welcome to join us during this session and if your child does not attend on this day you are welcome to come along and spend the hour with us.
We would like to wish all our families and staff an Eid Mubarak.
We hope you have a lovely few days with your friends and families celebrating Eid.
Sportykids Softplay will be doing Primary One Meet Up sessions for any of our children who will be going to school in August. ππ
