π£β½ World Cup Week is Coming to Nursery! ππ
Next week, weβll be celebrating World Cup Week at nursery! The children will be learning about different countries from around the world, finding out who is playing, and taking part in their own football-themed activities and tournaments in the garden. β½π
Children are welcome to:
π Wear a football kit from a participating country or their own football class
π¨ Wear colours that represent their favourite team
π Or simply come in something comfortable and ready for a fun day
Our focus is on learning, teamwork, inclusion, and having fun together. The most important thing is that every child feels part of the team and enjoys taking part.
Please see the poster below for more information. We canβt wait for a fantastic week of World Cup fun! πβ½β€οΈ

π·π Whizz Kids Story Time Fun π π·
Today the Whizz Kids have been learning about The Three Little Pigs and exploring different materials to build their own houses! The children used bricks, sticks, and straw while discussing which materials might make the strongest house.
This activity encouraged creativity, problem-solving, and imaginative play while linking learning to a familiar story πβ¨
π‘ Home Link Idea:
Why not read The Three Little Pigs together at home and see what materials you can use to build your own house? You could use blocks, cardboard, sticks, or cushions and talk about which materials are strong or weak π

π’β¨ Whizz Kids Number Fun β¨π’
This week the Whizz Kids took part in an exciting number game where the children had to jump or run to the correct circle showing numbers 1β5.
The children participated well in the experience and were able to find each number with guidance and encouragement from their peers. They are at the early stages of developing awareness of numbers and beginning to recognise numbers 1β5 with growing confidence.
A fun and active way to support early numeracy skills, listening, and teamwork! ππ

βοΈπ¦ Bright Stars Outdoor Water Play π¦βοΈ
The Bright Stars were very excited to explore the outdoor water station in the sunshine this morning!
The children picked up the measuring tubes and jugs, confidently using their hand-eye coordination and movement skills to scoop up the water and carefully pour it into the tubes. They became excited as they watched the water reach the top, before pouring it out and repeating the process again and again.
A fantastic hands-on experience supporting coordination, concentration, and early mathematical learning through play! πβ¨
